Fiverr – Save a Ton of Time for Just $5

In my opinion Fiverr is the perfect place to getting comfortable with outsourcing. I wanted to show you a video of just how easy it is to order a gig on Fiverr. This is especially useful for ranking 3rd party properties, like Facebook Notes. In fact I’ll record myself ordering a gig to one of my FB notes. Enjoy :)

  • Good post rusty,

I’ve been struggling with my rankings for the past 3-4 months and part of the reason was probably because I used 2-3 link pyramids to build links to my main site.

I actually decided to scrap my entire website. I’m now starting fresh at a .net domain name. I know I have to restart all my backlinking, but at least I know what to do now.

  • Rusty,

Great idea. I need to spend more time digging through fiverr’s offers.

Would you use that type of link building for any satelite site that then redirects to your main product pages? Or just huge social sites like FB that can deal with the link-traffic?

Rusty, I am finding lots of benefit from Fiverr. I’m interested in seeing what kind of result you’re going to obtain from that heavy hitter you hired in your video.

    Question:

Do you ping the created urls from Social Monkee?

I’m finding that they don’t get found as easy.

  • I love fiverr. I actually posted a gig for my Jason Statham fan page. I only accept quality links, that aren’t too overtly selling. I have made a few sales! Fiverr is a really cool site. I get paid $5 just for posting a link on the page, kinda cool.

    Awesome video, thanks Rusty!

  • Hi Rusty,

I Love Fiverr, it has so many cool option and tones of stuff that people are willing to do for five bucks!!

Do you recommend using some of the backlink options, bookmark options for you authority site? I have been using them for my satelite site and have had mixed results.

  • I’ve always hesitated using Fiverr think that the gigs there are low quality especially with regards to back linking jobs.

This is also the first time I’m learning about Link Pyramids.

    Will put this to use.

    Thanks.

  • Jimmy Smith:

Good video as always Rusty. I know your busy working on your new book, if you’d like me to do a guest post in the next few weeks shoot me out an email (I believe you have it) and we’ll talk.

Stay focused today everyone. One step each day =massive gains. Believe me, when I tell my story of online marketing you’ll see what I mean.

  • You mentioned squidoo a lot in your video, so I was wondering if anyone else has problems with squidoo? I just can’t get a lens accepted and I’ve no idea what’s wrong with them. I just put one up on intermittent fasting yesterday and it’s gone to ‘work in progress’ today. But as far as I know it is complete and a good comprehensive article. Am I the only one this happens to?

  • zerokills:

Hey David, that happened to me for a while. To get the article published on squidoo make sure you have a ton of modules with content. You can go to the right and there is a list that says lens progress. Just go through the steps and try to get most of em done and have at least 5 completed modules. Since I did that they accept every time so far.

  • Levi:

Some great stuff on Fiverr once you wade through the junk. The good news is, it’s only $5 to test each service provider. I’m a fan of the 30 second video clips and manual linking services (quality over quantity.)

  • @ David

I have had many of my lens removed. Some of which were doing well and getting lots of likes. But it was still saken down. I have stayed away from them because the effort to put them up was not worth the risk of having it removed.

  • Thanks for the advice on squidoo guys. Yes I did have 7 text modules on my last lens, a guestbook – everything except the ‘likes’ of course. I have e-mailed them, so will see if that produces anything. If not I may have to abandon them as well.

  • paulam:

Thanks for the video, good stuff on Fiverr.

I’m looking forward to seeing how much your rankings rise as a result of the backlinks.

Gotta be quick guys…heading to Las Vegas tomorrow and need to do some laundry and pack my suitcase :)

    @Troy,

You can use them for Blogger, WordPress.org, Tumblr, Wetpaint, etc…along with FB. Use those sites as a buffer. Tons of links to those sites…and those sites send just a few strong links to your main blog.

    @Jasonvs,

I don’t worry about pinging those URL’s. I just let Google find them naturally over time.

    @Jordan,

I haven’t used them as a seller, but that would be a good way to pay for tools and things like that…especially in the beginning. Great idea.

    @Bryan,

I’d mainly just use them for your satellite sites, that link to your main site. Wouldn’t blast that many links to your own URL. My guess is that a blog like mine could take it, but the risks are just simply too great for my liking.

    @James,

Tons of high profile marketers use Fiverr with success without really talking about it. I figured I’d do a live test for you guys so we would see for sure. I haven’t done tons on Fiverr, but plan to is this little test works out.

    @Jimmy,

Heck yeah I want you to guest post! I will hit you up when I get back from Vegas in 4 days.

    @ David, Jason, and zerokills,

I think I was a big reason for the “Squidoo crackdown”…especially figuring out how to put huge banners in the sidebar and push all of their ads down. We had an army of guys making celebrity lenses that overtook the front spots of Google. Squidoo probably isn’t the best place to spend your time right now. Maybe I will do a case study where I track where 4-5 of these social sites rank for 100 hot fitness keywords. We can quickly find what is ranking well. Currently Facebook notes is doing REALLY well.

    Off to The Wynn :)

    The Wynn
[This has become our favorite place in Las Vegas. It costs more than most places on the strip, but still cheap in comparison to staying at a nice hotel in a tropical beach location.]

I don’t really go to Vegas Clubs, because I’m too old to wait in line to then wait at a busy bar to get a beer. That is fun when you are younger…not so much when you are over 40. Anyway…we stay in the Encore section of The Wynn which is a bit nicer. It also has the most expensive nightclub ever built at $100 million…called XS.

We should have a Fitness Blog Training mastermind at this hotel someday. Anyway…like I said, for your money you get a crazy luxurious 5 star hotel…for MUCH cheaper than most places in the U.S.

Note: My hope is for a bunch of you guys to push hard and get the extra money to do stuff like this…or the free time to do it. Life is way too short to just get 2 weeks off per year for enjoyment.

Nobody is going to hand this to you, but it is yours for the taking. So kick some butt and take it already!

    -Rusty

  • Kyle:

Glad you said that about squidoo. I have been posting a ton on their and haven’t been able to rank anything despite getting some seemingly good keywords. No wonder! I’ll try out this FB notes thing then. Thanks for the info!

  • cletus:

Just wanted to let y’all know real quick:

My Traffic has just hit record numbers and climbing!!!

You the man Rusty, thanks a bunch for everything and I hope you have a grand time! :-)

    Mark

    P.S.
    Thanks everybody on here!

  • Love the Vegas Mastermind idea. If you’re looking for more guest posts I would love to do one for you too.

  • admin:

    Mark,

Keep pushing buddy…I see your posts all over the place in Google, by the way. Great stuff.

    Jason,

Very cool…I’ll set some of these up in a few weeks.

  • Looking to see what you guys recommend for hosting. I have been having problems and need to find something else.

    Thanks

  • mikemc007:

Jason, i am having the same problem, I am with Dave Olsen as suggested, and my website has now been hacked for a second time. The first time I asked him what I could do to prevent it and he never got back to me and now I have been struck again. Wondering if any of you guys know much about preventing your website from being hacked

  • @ mikemc007

I have the same guy and the same problems as you. It must be something on his end if we both got hit. This isn’t the first time I have had problems with my site on his hosting. I thought the extra hosting fees he charged were to take care of a lot of this stuff. I thought he backed up our sites but I have lost months of work. Kind of frustrating because the traffic was picking up.

  • Kyle:

I got hacked myself not too long ago and ended up losing everything pretty much. I switched over to hostgator and haven’t had any problems yet. I hear a lot of good things about them and they have 3 plans so you can choose which one works best for you.

You guys didn’t get hacked by those muslim robot guys by chance did you? That is who got my site.

  • mikemc007:

ye first time was the muslim robot, just today i got hit by some turkish group, didnt lose any work though

  • Kyle:

I even tried messaging the dave olsen guy a lot of times, went on his site and sent a customer service ticket too and I got no response back. After two weeks I canceled with them and went with hostgator. I’m not sure if he is just super busy or what, but it’s not worth it having to deal with all the hassle.

  • mikemc007:

Ye the same problem happened with me. I emailed him asking how to prevent it and got no reply, just assumed he was super busy. I have a baby hostgator account so going to transfer my main account over to hostgator, save some cash as well.

  • Kris:

I’ve been using Hostgator for a while and have had zero problems. 24/7 customer service with no waiting, almost 100% uptime, great loading times. Probably the best purchase experience of my life :)

  • Rusty,
These techniques are really cool and I have tried this myself ever since you put this post up. It is definitely working!
I plan on being there in your Vegas Mastermind getaway some day… I’m not at full-time status yet with my blogging but I know I will be. There’s no turning back! lol

    -Sam

  • mbomb:

    Hi Rusty,

I tried finding your facebook notes property by typing in “circuit training at home” and your site isn’t coming up. Did it take a hit?

    Mike

  • mbomb:

Whoops, sorry Rusty. Next time I’ll actually watch the entire video before I post:) I see that you’re actually moving up for quite a few of your terms. Would this method work with any type of offer…like CPA? Interested to see how you make out. Thanks for the awesome content.

    Mike

  • Just out of curiosity, does anyone here still use Squidoo for backlinks? Is it still effective?

    Thanks
    -Keith

  • A know there has been a little bit of interest in forming a more “united” mastermind group so-to-speak. So I’ve went back through every single post and comment on the site, and compiled as many of the still-active websites among us I could find.

I intend to forward the list to Rusty tomorrow to see if he’ll post it where more of us are likely to see it.

  • @ Keith

Squidoo was mentioned a few posts ago. I can’t remember which one was exactly, but I know I haven’t bothered much with Squidoo as of late because things have gotten so hard to use. I had a lens taken down because of a couple comments people left on my lens that were spam.

  • cletus:

    Unrelated:
I wonder if any of you guys know anything about Keyword Canine by Jonathan Leger (the best spinner, 1waylinks) and if it’s worth it when yo already have Market Samurai…

    Thanks,

    mark

  • Thanks again Rusty…I’ve used Fiverr quite a bit to outsource. Haven’t used this guy though. I just ordered a gig…i’ll report back if i notice a big difference.

  • It is great to find sources like fiverr, but I think there some problem how to find the real result service.

Some clickbank vendor use their services to built a fake video testimonial for their junk product.

  • niko:

    Hey Rusty,

Thanks for the fiverr. Just did my first FB note and used the guys in your video (he must be loving the exposure). I will let you know if I see any major jump in rankings.

NEW Affiliate Banners!
I hired out a couple different graphic designers to create a bunch of new affiliate banners.

Here is a preview of one I just had designed. I had this made in a bunch of different sizes...

I'm buying high-end stock images with really attractive men and women. They will all be stylish.

And Yavor of "Relative Strength Advantage" created a new men's banner that looks cool and has the same feel as the woman's banner above. Here it is.
