Another Cool Facebook Script I “Borrowed”

Okay…so I’m going to give you a script that will allow you to put one of those “FB Like” buttons that updates your new likes in real-time. My suggestion is to begin using these on your free report download pages, your paid report download pages, etc. You can use this wherever HTML is allowed. Watch the vid :)

  • Thanks for the cool tip. I will start placing that on my download pages for sure.

One question though. How much value do you get out of Facebook likes. I am not a big Facebook person, don’t even have a personal account. Is it something that I should look more into.

  • Kevin McMillian:

Good call Rusty. I’m JUST starting to push my Facebook page a bit.

As soon as I have enough likes on THIS PAGE —> https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fitness-BW/182908225104262

    I will start implementing this.

    :D

  • Hi Guys,

This is a little off topic but still hase to do with Facebook.

I am looking at creating a Facebook page, and was going through the steps and was wondering. What catagory did some of you create your Facebook page in?

    Local Business or Place
    Company, Organization or Institution
    Brand or Produt
    Artist, Band or Public Figure
    Enterainment
    Cause of Community

  • Hey guys,
I have a slightly off topic question, but recently, some of my keywords were penalized(I think) because I used the same anchor text a bit too much in 1 way links.

How should you fix your rankings, if you got penalized for using the same anchor text? Should you continue to build links to that page or just wait it out?

    Thanks

  • Kris:

I’d continue building links to it, but use a more varied anchor text.

You can make many variations of the same phrase, while still saying basically the same thing.

“how much protein per day”, “how much protein a day”, “how many grams of protein per day”, “amount of protein per day”, “daily protein intake”, etc. etc.

But I make sure that my main keyword phrase is there about 50% of the time.

  • Thanks kris I’ll try that out

  • 1waylinks allows you to vary anchor text. I do what kris said when I submit links.

  • Rusty,

Thanks for the tip! I’ll start putting it up on some of my pages!

Hi guys! Im new to this blog and am super excited to make all these tweaks and 1000 visits per day! Im a fitness specialist/trainer and functional movement expert in NYC. I oversee all Beachbody trainers programs and train test groups in NYC (Shuan T of Inanity and Asylum and leandro of Brazil Butt LIft and even helped create Insanity the Asylum with Shaun, yet I have had the hardest time getting traffic on my sites for what I do every second of every day. I am hopeful this works!

Question: I added this “make sure you like us on facebook” code, placed my page name and all that is coming up is “make sure you like us on facebook” not even a like box or anything. Just a sentence. Any help? Thanks!
