An SEO Loophole Revealed By High-Ticket Amazon Affiliates.
I am going to teach you guys something that will serve you better than a large majority of SEO traffic courses that you have paid for. The best way to find SEO Gold is to spy on Amazon Affiliates who sell high-ticket items like Rolex Watches, Digital Cameras, iPads, etc. This video is going to show you how it is done.
This is protected content.

I am not sure if I have done something wrong here. When you first told us about FB notes i went and put one up. After watching your video today I decide to do a search for my article and it didn’t come up.
My twitter post that Facebook auto posted came up but not the FB entry.
Am I missing something.
Hey Rusty – I’m also having the same problem as atltrainer. This Facebook note (http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=241265692594663) has been live for over a month now but if I do a Google search for the title, my note is nowhere to be seen. It just doesn’t seem to be indexing my note at all.
I have had the same problem with my facebook notes but only from my main site.
It’s awesome that you pointed this out with Amazon products because I noticed it too but didn’t think much of it at the time. No idea why? ahhah Thanks for the tip!
Guys…you do need to link build. I will talk about how I got top ranking for one of my FB Notes. It didn’t take much. A good strategy which combines 1WL, an EDU site, along with the FB Note.
Works well!
-Rusty
Sorry for my ignorance but what does 1WL means?
Thanks and GREAT post BTW Thanks again for that.
Great stuff, Rusty!
@fonte – 1WL is 1 Way Links – http://www.1waylinks.net
Gregg
Thank you Gregg, I appreciate your answer!
Thank you Gregg for your answer!
BTW, Why the video stops at 1:38?
Is there any alternative URL to watch it?
THANKS in advance!!
Hi,
I knew about fb notes, but I can’t rank mine either.
I tried backlinking with Fast Indexer Pro, is this type of software useless?
Rusty, can you please tell more about the EDU site?
I also have a software that finds edu sites for posting on them for related keywords. Is this what it’s about?
Thanks,
Olivier
I tried this and ran into a few problems and solutions, hopefully this will help.
1) Facebook notes from a Profile are NOT publicly visible, even if they are listed as public. Try to post a note from your profile, get the url, log out and paste it back into your address bar. You’ll notice that you need to log into facebook.
Solution? Create a facebook Page and paste the note from there.
You may need to use the “use facebook as _____” feature in the upper right hand corner by your FB.
These will show up without logging in. I just tested it.
I still haven’t figured out how people are getting permalinks with actual keywords in them instead of the note.php?note_id=230472037432987439287 string.
Hope that helps.
Thanks, I never thought of this problem.
Can’t help about the permalink… but it may make a difference in Google’s eyes
I really need to get this rolling. The Google updates really hit me hard and it would be ideal to get a funnel going now that I just put out my Free Report for list building purposes.
Thanks again Rusty.
-Sam
Yeah i noticed the amount of facebook “spam”
littering the first pages of google but never gave it much thought till now hehe.
Rusty, what’s your take on writing amazon reviews as notes that go to a review site aka “sandwich page” instead of directly to amazon?
- Adam
Hey Adam, I was thinking the same, to avoid FB to remove the notes… Would like to hear Rusty’s view on that too!
After looking at your FB page Rusty, I am left wondering how you get your big ol’ image with your video player on your landing page?
If anyone else knows how to do this, I’d be very appreciative!
Cheers
George
@fonte,
The video is playing to the end on all of my computers. Do you have Firefox or Chrome?
@ George,
I was using my own site and the installing an SSL Certificate and embedding an iFrame…but that was a pain to change and test things. I opted for 5 Minute Fan Pages 2.0 to make it easier. Not sure you can buy right now…they will open again at some point and I’ll send out a post when they do.
-Rusty
Hi Rusty,
Thanks… just put a few old posts up. Will send some 1WL links too.
I also ping the notes. Is that a good idea?
Best – Mike
Hi Rusty, Sort of related since you mention the link building back to the facebook notes pages. Is 1WL still working as good as it was prior to the Panda throwing it’s weight around? I am considering using a link building service but with so many around I want to use the best one at the moment.
Thanks
Excellent post on the FB Notes method Rusty! Another marketer pointed this out in an email message about a month ago, but did NOT expand on it to any degree. Thanks
I Rusty thank for your answer buddy…
I’m using both, Chrome goes a little further up to 4.46
I tried with my girlfriend computer with almost same result.
Is estrange because never happen before with your previous videos.
Any suggestion?
THANKS in advance
Wow, I’ve never seen anything this obvious when doing competitor research before! Four freaking fan pages on the first results page?! (I can see it, it just doesn’t seem real!)
Unfortunately it will get too popular and the fun will be over, but if it’s lasted this long, we might still have time to bank on it.
Hey Rusty,
Slightly off topic question, but when using 1WL, is it worth it to build links to the homepage or should you only use it to build links to internal links with the anchor text?
Thanks
Thanks for your reply Rusty,
Checked out http://fiveminutefanpage.com/live and sadly its a little outside my affordability right now
But if it gets plenty new people on your list, it will be worth it in the long term.
Keep up the good work guys!
George
I’m gonna try this out on a few posts of mine that didn’t rank.
Just did a complete makeover of my facebook page and I’m gonna try to master the social media thing in 2012, which I really think will be an increasingly larger factor in SEO.
http://www.facebook.com/krishealthblog
P.s. video plays fine for me.
Hi All,
I am really keen on this but I have been having a few problems. The code for Amazon affiliate page is in html.How do I Post the html code from Amazon into my Note?
Also I don’t know where to find the attach and link apps in facebook.
Can anyone help me here?
Rusty could you perhaps do a tutorial on How to attach html to face book?
Questor
Hey Rusty and All!
I just signed up a short while ago and have been devouring all this great info, and I have two Facebook related questions:
1.) You said in an earlier post that Ezine Articles is pretty much dead and Facebook Notes is the new place to get the Google love/Google rankings. So my first question is: How does this change the game for those of us just starting out on a shoestring budget? I actually have exactly $30 to start up with right now (what you blogged about before, lol) but, I’m hoping to have slightly more soon, just probably not much more (depends on how much Christmas money I get!) I know you said on the welcome page to not do 100 articles on EZA anymore, only do 10-20, but is there a new Facebook related “first step” you’d recommend instead for those of us who’ll need to generate traffic quickly for more start up money, or still just stick with the 10-20 articles for EZA?
2.) Not that I’d probably be able to afford it right now anyway, but it seems FBMaxed has been taken down by Clickbank for some reason. Anything else you’d recommend for building a Fan Page?
Thanks SO MUCH for all your help, Rusty!!! I really appreciate this!
~Ravyn
Like some of you all, I’m also dealing with “aftermath” of getting creamed. But yesterday, one little light flickered off in the distance in this tunnel that I happen to be travelling in (hoping its not an oncoming train).
Just concidentally – yesterday, someone, somewhere (I don’t know how) on facebook linked to a page on one of my sites. That facebook link has sent me 799 visitors yesterday according to google analytics while wordpress.com stat says it was 846. My visitor count for yesterday was 1243 unique visitors.
For my little site – that’s huge.
Guess where I am spending my time? I’ve already gone and reread and watched Rusty’s videos on FB Notes a dozen times since yesterday.
Rusty – U the Man!
I wonder if we could all help each other out a little here?
What if we we’re to post links to our fb notes and fan pages here so that all of us could like/comment on each?
Who’s up for it, and would it be likely to make any difference?
George
BTW is anyone else struggling to get their FB notes formatted properly?
My inserting of html keeps being altered when I save or preview. I can add h1 but no more!
Very frustrating
George
@George – I don’t think it would hurt. The one big thing I’ve had trouble with on my FB fan page is getting people to interact so seeing some likes and comments might help that.
I also have to clean up the process a little bit. I’m still learning FB. Mine is http://www.facebook.com/dailyfitnesstips (I should’ve gone with something similar to my site but oh well).
Gregg
That was a really useful post. Thanks; I’ll look into that. Though as a beginner maybe there are other things I should be concentrating on first.
Also it seems my question on the last post got overlooked again. So I thought I’d copy and paste it here; hope that’s ok (if this keeps happening I’ll be getting a complex
) Anyway here it is; hope you can give me a quick reply. Thanks.
Just wanted to ask a quick question about seo in relation to links if I may? You talk in one of your ‘start here’ posts about having no more than three links on each of your offsite pages, going back to your site and/or other off site pages. However I have a couple of posts (on wordpress free sites and blogger) entitled ’7 steps to health’, with 6 or 7 links back to my site – but each one back to a different post on a specific topic (and one to the site home page). Is this ok, or will I get penalised for having too many links on a post? Thank you.
@ David
I don’t want to speak for Rusty but I think the three link limit he is talking about is for sites that have a limit built in, like using Ezine Articles or inside a 1WL account.
Solid content that links out to more information shouldn’t be penalized (but do we ever know with Google?). For example, check out the top site that comes up when you search for top 55 rss feeds (a popular link bait post years ago). http://web-marketing.masternewmedia.org/rsstop55-best-blog-directory-and-rss-submission-sites/
There are 55 rss sites, with 3 links to each site on that page, and yet it’s #1 in Google.
Of course, there’s also a decent amount of content. Maybe if you had 300 words in your article and 297 of then were links, Google might find that weird. lol!
Gregg
Thank you Gregg. That’s very useful. Appreciate you taking the time to reply.
I wrote on facebook notes for a term and placed it in 1 way links and an already of the first page! Thanks for the info Rusty.
@Mike,
1WL will get the job done for sure. I’m going to do a case sudy where I use free tools…but 1WL delivers.
@br3ach,
1WL working as good as ever.
@Levi,
Yes…either Google or FB will shut it down…but it will probably last longer than you would expect. The Ezinearticle train was running strong for 5+ years.
@Keith,
I like mainly internal linking. That will raise up the homepage over time anyway.
@George,
Yes…don’t buy anything out of your budget. Wait until biz picks up and then add in the tools over time.
@Questor,
I really only use pics and links. The link is pretty easy it is the traditional format. Pics are put in by using the picture function on FB.
@Ravyn,
I think the more the merrier as far as FB Notes goes. My answer? As many really good FB Notes posts that you can do. So a realistic goal starting out might be 2-3 per week.
I’m going to talk about commenting on FB Fan Pages for traffic in a few weeks as well.
As far as good FB Fan Page software. I recommend 5 Minute Fan Pages 2.0. It is what I’m using with my FB Page Now. I really like it!
@Hyo,
That is awesome! In 2012, I’m going to talk and focus much more on free traffic outside of Google. Too many good sites getting rocked with Google updates. I want to eventually make that a non-factor for you guys.
Luckily…it seems as Facebook may come to the rescue…and we will ride that train as long as it delivers.
@George,
I just keep the HTML super simple. Just links. For everything else I just use the limited WYSIWYG editor.
@DavidW,
Sorry I didn’t get to your last question. I get a ton of questions from my fitness blog, facebook page, men’s product, women’s product, and people that find my email, etc. So we are talking 30-50 per day that I try and keep up with.
I do try my best to answer all of these on this site
So Gregg has it right. You can link out in your own blog posts like crazy and still rank very well in Google. Some of the top rated posts online are long “Best of” posts with 30+ outgoing links. It won’t hurt your ranking a bit.
@Darren,
Heck yeah…it is funny 1WL works as well as ever even through all of these Google updates. You should make a bunch more of these notes and build up a good FB following.
-Rusty
Sorry for my newbie ignorance but could some one say how is the 1 way link done?
Thanks in advance!
@ Fonte,
1 Way Links is one of the few automated linking tools that actually works. The easiest way to answer your question would be so have you go read the sales page for it at http://www.1waylinks.net
Gregg
Going to watch your video again. Need to understand what I am doing. Thank you Rusty!
