New Visual Impact Brandable Videos for Affiliates

You guys can now embed my sales videos from Visual Impact Muscle Building onto your blogs, websites, etc. Not only that…I have it setup to where your affiliate link will popup 10 seconds after the video has started. This is going to help a lot of people make more sales. Watch the video below to see how to tweak the embed code to do all sorts of fancy things :)

  • Thanks Rusty. You make it easier and easier for us to make sales. Cant wait to look at the videos and do a few posts for them.

    Thanks again for all the help.

  • macca:

    Great move Rusty. I have put 2 videos on my blog right under the title. I will report bck on the results.

    Cheers mate,

    Craig

  • Cool stuff Rusty, just out of curiosity do you plan on doing this for visual impact women as well?

    Thanks

  • Never mind, just saw your post

  • Rusty,

    I was trying to figure out something like this over the weekend…great sales tactic!

    Don’t know if i’m doing something wrong when i click on the
    (link to the text file) i’m not getting any HTML code to paste into blog page.

  • Looks really cool Rusty. I already got some ideas where to include these. Thanks a lot!

  • admin:

    @fernando1954,

    I’ll maybe load these text files up on my Amazon Cloud server as well and see if you can access that better.

  • rpbco:

    Great support material for our blogs. I’ll use it right away on my blog.

    hey Rusty, great idea btw. A problem i am having with the shrink wrap effect video is that when someone goes on my site the video plays right away instead of them clicking play. Do you know how to resolve this?

  • fernando1954:

    If you could have tried again just not seeing any code

  • admin:

    @Mikemc007,

    Can you double check and make sure that you go all of the code. Also…sometimes if you refresh the page, instead of hitting it the normal way…it will do this. Let me know if it works.

    @fernando1954,

    Can you try looking at the women’s code? I put that on my Amazon Cloud server. If you can see that, I’ll do the same for the men’s codes for you.

    -Rusty

  • Greggg:

    Awesome stuff, Rusty! Not only should this help conversions, but it may help search engine rankings by keeping people on our own sites longer.

    I had been using the fake video image you mentioned awhile back. This has done really well with click throughs but not all that great with conversions.

    Not sure if anyone else has noticed this but for me, when it hits 10 seconds, the link appears but the video starts over. Anyone else seen this problem?

    Thanks again, Rusty! Now if I can get back the 80% of traffic I lost in the October Panda update maybe I can get you some sales. LOL!

    Gregg

  • Oh, man! Has anyone tried the women’s video yet? It works just fine but it’s tiny!

    Gregg

  • admin:

    @Gregg,

    Well I didn’t want to make it more than 425 width, because I wanted to make sure it could fit the width of every blog. Unfortunately I recorded that one with more of a wide screen look…so it isn’t very tall.

    I could make these so they open in a light box over the page, but then people wouldn’t see the link as it appears onto the page.

    So the other videos are starting from the beginning? You just have one per page right?

    …what I may do if people seem to like these videos as sales tools, is create a bunch of new videos for affiliates that will help get people over to the sales page. It won’t happen until mid 2012…but just want to see if it is a good strategy first.

    -Rusty

  • @Rusty,

    Okay, that makes sense. I wasn’t sure if there was something in the code that I had wrong.

    I have one per page. Here’s the weird thing. I mentioned that for the first one I did (in case I had code wrong I didn’t want to have to change a bunch of pages). However, I added the video to a few more pages and they were working correctly (NOT starting over once it hits 10 seconds and the link appears) so maybe it’s just a glitch on that one page, conflicting with other code or something?

    Thanks, Rusty!

  • fernando1954:

    Tried the womens video all i see is the actual video and the instructions for editing the code but no code.

  • Rusty,

    Thanks for doing this! Another cutting edge technique for us to use! I’m sure this will help a lot with affiliate sales.

  • mikemc007:

    Ye Rusty video 3 on of my sites really acts up. Sometimes it disapears, code is all correct, just replaced my affiliate link with the original. Video plays automically and then sometimes it just doesnt appear, maybe its just a problem with that page like Gregg mentioned on one of his ones

  • Kevin McMillian:

    Hey Rusty,
    I’d be interested in getting these vids to open in a light box … unless you would like to convert them to B&W ;)

    Side Note/Question: Anybody having any luck recovering from the last Panda Update? No real luck here and getting a bit bummed.

  • Kevin:

    The latest Panda update sucks. My main site is ok but my product site went from top of page two for various key words to lower than page 25. My sales have taken a huge hit and am now trying to figure out what they heck to do.

    Ryan

  • Hi Ryan,
    I haven’t had any luck either. My traffic took a dive of over 60 percent and I haven’t recovered.

    The good thing is my bounce rate has dropped and visitors stay on the site longer. So that’s a gain I have had despite the Panda update.

    -Sam

  • Hey Sam:

    When did your traffic go down? Mine tanked starting on the 29th of November and it is not recovering.

  • Ryan,
    My drop happened during the October update, so around mid-October. I had been seeing consistent traffic increases week after week and I went from about 480 down to about 160 overnight. I have held steady with some days going up a bit over 200 visitors a day.

    It was frustrating because in late February/ early March there was a Google update and my site benefitted from that. My traffic levels went from around 30 per day to 150 in less than a week.

    I don’t sweat it so much anymore. I am adding quality content to my site and as long as I do that I am ok with it. I just figure that traffic has to come back… FINGERS CROSSED. I would definitely like to see traffic levels improve but I guess I can see other positive outcomes with bounce rate decreases and average time per visitor.

    -Sam

  • My site got hit twice.

    The first were in September where all posts dropped between 100-1000 places. Then after 6 weeks it bounced back. But only for a week.

    Then I got hit again both with drops in rankings but also my page rank went down and lost 1000000 in Alexa ranks.

    Then I just eliminated Google all together for traffic generation and haven’t focused on it all since. I quit all linkbuilding services.

    The wierd thing is that my site is slowly climbing back in Google without doing anything specific.

    The only thing I do now when I post is still to keyword optimize, syndicate via WP syndicator and some bookmarks through Onlywire. That’s it!

    Google is a funny beast.

  • admin:

    @fernando1954,

    Can you try downloading Firefox…or even better Google Chrome? It should work fine in those browsers.

    @Kevin,

    Give me a little time…I’ll set something up for you. The women’s is B&W.

    @Rcoop,

    2012 is going to be a year of me teaching how to funnel traffic to your site outside of Google. I’m going to be really pushing the envelope hard. It will be based on Facebook SEO…I have discovered a pretty darn effective way to combnie a particualr EDU site with FB to get your Notes ranking REALLY high in the Google.

    …it is like 2006 Ezine Articles, but better because of the natural viral aspect. I could probably make a paid course on this, but I would rather just teach it for free to you guys.

    -Rusty

  • Just wanted to ask a quick question about seo in relation to links if I may? You talk in one of your ‘start here’ posts about having no more than three links on each of your offsite pages, going back to your site and/or other off site pages. However I have a couple of posts (on wordpress free sites and blogger) entitled ’7 steps to health’, with 6 or 7 links back to my site – but each one back to a different post on a specific topic (and one to the site home page). Is this ok, or will I get penalised for having too many links on a post? Thank you.
