How to Copy Tricky Things You See on Other Blogs
Hey guys…i’m running short on time. I’m heading out to see the movie “In Time” ironically
. Anyway, I just recorded a video of how to put a cool floating “Become a Fan on Facebook” button on your blog. The main point of the video is to show you how to figure out how to replicate cool things you see on other blogs…by looking at the source code. Watch the video to get the code for the cool button. Enjoy!

What I have found to work well is Fire Bug. It does the same thing put is a plug in for your browser. You can turn it on or off. What I like about the plugin is that it makes finding things a little easier than the page source method because it highlights what you are looking at.
Thanks for showing how to get these things on our site.
Thanks for the tip Rusty. I never thought of “reverse engineering” websites like that before.
Thanks Rusty – that is AWESOME and implemented!!!
Rusty,
Thanks for the tip! I’m not a programmer either and it’s amazing how much technical stuff you can do without actually coding anything yourself. Hope you enjoyed the movie. I really want to see that one! It looked like a really interesting concept.

Would you know how to implement this on the websiteweaver?
