Clickbank Affiliate Link Tips
Most of the posts on this blog are private, which means you need to register and then login to see the posts. I decided to make this one public, because it is crucial in making money as an affiliate. If you don’t setup your links properly, you will miss out on making money. I have messed up links more than once…and estimate that I’ve lost $5,000+ by not testing my affiliate links properly. I don’t want that to happen to you, so watch the vid

Below: Several Ways to Get Credit For My Products
I will keep all of my products under a single Clickbank account. What that means is that if the “visimpact” cookie gets set with your affiliate ID, you will get credit for the sale whether they buy my men’s, women’s, or cardio program (coming in 2012 on Clickbank).
A good strategy is to expose people to a product several times without sending them to the sales page every time. Here are several ways to “gently” make a lot of sales…without having to feel like you are selling non-stop.
- Change AFFID to your Clickbank affiliate nickname.
- Change YOURTID to any appropriate tracking ID.

Thanks for the post Rusty, I’ve been trying to figure out how to get a tracking id for your women’s product.
And I also have a sort of unrelated question. You mentioned using Fiverr to boost your rankings once 1WL has done it’s job, but which gigs do you use on Fiverr? There are a ton of them and I don’t know which ones to use.

Thanks for the post that is very handy having all your aff links in one place. Just want to ask you or anybody else if they have some difference with the hits that are recorded on pretty links and those logged with the affiliate promotion. For example I promote Prograde through pretty link but the hits on the prograde tracker system are much lower. Also I am convinced my hops are lower in clickbank than they should be. I have contacted both companies and they say everything should be ok. Just curious to see if anybody else has noticed this or am I losing it.

Good stuff as always. Pretty Link is a great free plugin. I’ve been using it since the beginning. Cleans up those long affiliate links nicely and I like that it also tracks your hits.

@howard I’ve always noticed that the hits on Pretty Link are always higher than on Clickbank. I think it has something to do with ‘bots’ and the like crawling the pages. It has never impact on what I would have expected with sales etc.
