Linking and Traffic Techniques That Work Now (Middle of 2011)
Guys…I will keep this post short and simple. This will be a preview of the “Back to Basics” case study of 2011. I don’t really have time to create and upload a video. It is Friday and I’m finding hard to concentrate on work as 4th of July weekend is ahead. Happy Canada Day, by the way, to all my friends to the North
This is protected content.

Probably just the Google Dance, I recommend posting to 1waylinks at a rate of 1 per day, especially if your site is new and doesn’t have too many links already.
Blog commenting helps too of course, but the content quality is CRITICAL, probably the most important factor of all if you’re thinking about long-term rankings.
Has anyone lost ranking for their keywords after canceling 1waylinks? Found out that links will disappear when you no longer subscribed to 1waylinks.
Great article.
One issue I have is different sites will tell you what to do, but not tell you how much of it to do.
eg. Submit a Spun article to UAW with link pointing back.
Im then thinking, should I submit 1 a week, or 5 a week??? How many keywords should I target & include etc….
A blueprint would be awesome Rusty
I just have one quick question. What metric are you using to determine which posts are underperforming? I’m not sure what type of performance to look for. Am I looking for unique visitors to each specific post, which will tell me that fresh eyes are on posts, or simply page views? Also, is the performance based on revenue generated or opt-ins? Basically, I don’t know where to begin if I don’t know where I’m going.
Thanks,
Shawn
I am curious what your recommendation is for 1 way links. I signed up for 1 way links and would like your opinion on how to get started. You get 250 posts per month so what I am curious about is this:
Is it better to write one article and have it post 250 times?
or
Is it better to write 2-3 articles per week and have each one post 20 times?
Thanks for all of your help..
I was always wondering what is the best linking strategy. Thanks for sharing

Maybe a stupid Q, but I´m a newbee..
Since I´m blogging in my native language, norwegian, will I still be able to use the network of blogs to get backlinks via 1waylinks? Or will my submitted articles/blogentries just be deleted since they are “jibberish” for everybody else but us norwegians?
I know that this comment comes a little late after the post was published, but…
What do you guys do with all your pingbacks you get from your 1way links posts?
I have been accepting mine, and now they’re starting to look messy at the bottom of my posts….
All thoughts are appreciated!
George
@thaag,
I don’t know the answer to your question, but I bet they would over on the 1waylinks forum. Check out http://jlforums.com/ and ask your question there…
Good luck,
